Securing the health and wellbeing of the Vulnerable
Communal Care Centre for HIV/AIDS is a membership organization for people living with and affect by HIV/AIDS formed in 2004 by the Executive Director following the rate of deaths resulting from stigma and discrimination, myths and misconceptions associated with HIV/AIDS in our communities at that period. With the fund for leadership development she received from the MacArthur Foundation in 2004 she started HIV intervention program in Oguta Imo State, creating awareness through advocacy, sensitization, training and mobilizing support to care for people living with HIV/AIDS. She also provided a one-stop-shop centre for HIV counseling, testing and referral, aimed at mitigating on deaths associated with HIV/AIDS in the community.
To reduce the vulnerability of women and girls through information, education and empowerment.
