Communal Care Centre with support from Actionaid Nigeria held series of activities to mark the International Women’s Day 2023; #Ebraceequality2023. Sensitization of women groups in Akabor community, Market sensitization in Oguta, Adolescent peer education session at Divine Favour Secondary School, Omuma and Radio program at 1 Community Radio Oguta. The activities were used to educate women on the need to enlighten, empower and improve themselves with new innovations in technology. Using the new monetary policy that has impacted negatively on the rural women due to their inadequate knowledge of electronic banking, women were admonished to embrace change and learn, there’s no again limit to learning and it can be done in the comfort of your home or business place. It will also help them advance their business by learning innovative ways of doing business. Improve relationship with the family and society, learn how to monitor and educate their children.
