Communal Care Centre held a sensitization program at Trinity High School Oguta to mark the international day of zero tolerance on Female Genital Mutilation with the theme “Partnership with Men and Boys to transform Social and gender Norms to End FGM”. Trinity High School Oguta where 90% of the students are boys were sensitized on what FGM is all about, the negative effects of FMG both health wise and on the physical. The adolescents were encouraged to lend their voices to say No to FGM and other forms of gender-based violence in their homes, communities, school and society at large and also to report identified cases of abuse to Communal Care Centre.
